21 DAY MODIFIED FAST JANUARY 11-31

 

 FOODS TO AVOID

  • NO Meat (you may eat only fish if you need a protein – no shrimp or other meat)

  • NO Bread

  • NO Wine or any other alcoholic drinks, no sodas

  • NO Fast Food restaurants

  • NO Sweets

 

 

PERSONAL HABITS TO AVOID

  •  

  • LIMIT television time

  • LIMIT phone use

  • NO gossiping

  • You may listen to worship or gospel music, but no secular music

  • NO personal social media (no TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter or any other platform unless it's job required)

 

 

SPIRITUAL HABITS TO KEEP

  • PRAY 3 times a day

  • Read the book of James starting with Chapter 1 (a few verses a day)

  • Encourage someone each day

  • Share the gospel of Jesus with someone each week (by sharing your testimony)

Welcome aboard as we take our journey on this 21-day Modified Fast!  Don’t feel that you are not important as a participant on this fast, because you are!!! – Yes you are! Pastor DeAnna and I are encouraging you all to come on board with all the zeal that God has placed within you!  This fast is about Reconnecting With God!  This year we want to rid ourselves of any and everything that is keeping us out of line with God’s Word and purpose for our lives!  We are fasting to develop a spirit of commitment and obedience that will ultimately cause us to experience Breakthrough in our finances, health, and relationships.

  3. For Instructions. (Prov. 16:20)

  3. Godly and Wise Counsel (Proverbs 11:14)

  4. Spiritual Parents (Hebrews 13:7)

 

 

WHY DO I NEED TO LISTEN?

  1. To fulfill God’s purpose for my life (Psalms 16:11)

  2. To be prosperous (Jeremiah 29:11)

  3. To love like God (Luke 6:27)
