21 DAY MODIFIED FAST JANUARY 2ND-22ND

 

 The Fasting Itinerary

  • January 01-07 (Week 1) No sodas, Tea, Kool-Aid, Sugary drinks or food, No cakes, pies, candy (peppermint is an exception) cookies, or anything not naturally sweet. No fried food.

  • January 08-14 (Week 2) No Sugary drinks or food, No sodas, Tea, No cakes, Pies, Candy or cookies. Include Week One plus eliminate meat Omit Refined Grains from your fast. Whole Grains are acceptable.

  • January 15-21 (Week 3) No Sugary drinks or food, No sodas, Tea, No cakes, Pies, Candy or cookies. No red meat or pork. No chicken, No fish No bread, rice, & pasta. Include Week Two plus eliminate all social media (Unless it is required with your job)

From January 1, 2022 to January 21, 2022 you should only consume fruits, vegetables, 100% fruit juice (no sugar) and water. You may eat beans for protein.

***Due to MEDICAL CONDITIONS, some may not be able to participate in this fast, but you are not excluded. Fast from watching television…just watch the news and religious television. Fast from a daily routine that you do religiously.***

PERSONAL HABITS TO AVOID

  • NO personal social media (no Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter)

  • LIMIT television time

  • LIMIT phone use

  • NO gossiping

 

 

SPIRITUAL HABITS TO KEEP

  • PRAY 3 times a day

  • Read the book of James starting with Chapter 1 (a few verses a day)

  • Encourage someone each day

  • Share the gospel of Jesus with someone each week (by sharing your testimony)
