Our Pastors
Pastor Thomas B. Gafford Jr. is a man after God’s own heart and who truly loves the Lord. His humble beginnings began at an early age in Hampton, Virginia. His family later moved to Greensboro, North Carolina where he met and married his wife Lady Chrystall Hoper-Gafford. Together they have six wonderful children. He and his wife are servants at heart and enjoy serving people. Pastor Thomas’s desire is to preach and teach the word of God with boldness so that it may have a life changing impact within the community.
In June of 2017, the Lord led him and his family to move to Atlanta, GA to join and serve at Breakthrough Worship Center of Hope. Despite not knowing where the path would take their family, he trusted God’s will for his life and moved. While faithfully serving at Breakthrough Worship Center of Hope, he was ordained as a minister of the Gospel December of 2018.
Pastor Thomas founded ‘Men Redeemed’ in May of 2019, an organization geared toward helping and uplifting men who share in similar experiences of his past with struggles such as addictions, experienced sexual abuse, and with strongholds. Men Redeemed provides the tools needed to help these men break free from the chains of bondage over their lives through the Word of God.
In December of 2019, Thomas Gafford was ordained and installed as Senior Pastor of Breakthrough Worship Center of Hope. Pastor Thomas and Lady Chrystall are committed to continue the mission and vision as set forth by the founders, Apostles Dwight and DeAnna Hurt.
